How to Duplicate Queries and Sheets from an existing spreadsheet to a New Spreadsheet

Picture this: you’ve built a spreadsheet in Two Minute Reports with multiple queries from different integrations. Now you need to recreate those queries and reports in a New spreadsheet. You know these reports are important, but redoing everything manually is time-consuming and tedious.

Here’s the good news rather than adding the Connections and configuring each query all over again, Two Minute Reports lets you duplicate your entire setup from one spreadsheet to another right from the My Reports section.

What is “My Reports”

The My Reports section lists all the spreadsheets/reports that you have created using Two Minute Reports, showing their names and corresponding Spreadsheet IDs. You can easily duplicate your queries and sheets from your existing Spreadsheet/Report to a New Spreadsheet in My Reports. After carefully designing and creating your perfect spreadsheet, you don’t need to repeat the process to create a similar report for another client or brand.

Using the Copy feature in My Reports, you can easily reduce your report creation time. This way, all your Spreadsheets/Reports in Two Minute Reports act as templates for you to create new reports later on.

Step-by-Step: Copying Reports in TMR

Open My Reports

Log in to the TMR Sidebar. Click My Reports in the main menu. You’ll see a list of all your reports and spreadsheets.

Choose the Report to Copy

Find the report you want to copy. Click the three dots (⋮) next to its name. Select Copy from the menu.

Tip: Double-check the Spreadsheet ID to be sure you’re copying the right report.

Map Your Account

When the Account Mapping screen opens, the connectors used in the existing report’s queries will be displayed on the left. On the right, select the Ad account for the new report.

If your ad account is not enabled, click on Go to Accounts. This will open a dialog box where you need to enable the required accounts and then click Done.

Now select the ad accounts you want to copy, give a name to your new spreadsheet, and click ‘Submit.’

Start the Copy

Once you click Submit, wait for a confirmation message. Your new spreadsheet will appear in your Google Drive. Click on View Report to check it.
