Skills are pre-built audits and reports that run on your own Two Minute Reports data. Instead of prompting an AI from scratch, you pick a skill, a Google Ads audit, an SEO report, and more, and get a proven, structured analysis that pulls straight from your connected accounts.

Every skill works two ways: run it right inside Dash, TMR's AI assistant, or install it in your own AI assistant (Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, or Codex).

You'll find skills at MCP → the Skills tab. They're curated by Two Minute Reports and grouped by category (SEO, PPC, Social, Ecommerce), you browse, use, and download them; you don't build them yourself.

Browse the Catalog

Open MCP and switch to the Skills tab. Skills are listed under their category, and each row shows the skill's name, a short description, the connectors it uses, and how widely it's been used.

Click a skill to open it. In the skill viewer you can switch between:

Preview - a readable walkthrough of what the skill does
Raw file - the exact instructions behind it
Install - steps to add it to an external assistant

From here you can Copy the skill, Download it, or Use in Dash.

Some skills show a Soon badge (not available yet) or Coming to Dash soon (you can't run them in Dash yet, but you can still download them for another assistant).

Use a Skill in Dash

This is the fastest way, no setup, no downloads.

On any skill, click Use (or Use in Dash inside the skill viewer). Dash opens with the skill's question already typed into the composer and a skill chip attached, just press Enter.

Dash then runs the skill's steps against your connected data and returns the finished analysis right in the panel.

Some skills also produce a visual report as an artifact, which opens beside the chat. You can review it there and download it as an image.

A skill needs the relevant data source connected, for example, a Google Ads audit needs a Google Ads account connected. Connect data sources first, then run the skill.

Install a Skill in Another AI Assistant

Every skill can also run in your own AI client. The idea is the same everywhere: add the skill, then just ask for it.

A skill is a set of instructions. For it to read your live data in an external assistant, that assistant also needs the Two Minute Reports MCP server connected (https://mcp.twominutereports.com/mcp). See Set up with Claude or Set up with ChatGPT. Claude Code connects Two Minute Reports as part of installing the pack, so it needs no separate step.

Claude installs one skill at a time from a downloaded file.

Open the skill on the Skills tab, go to the Install tab, and click Download, you'll get a .zip (the whole skill folder).
In Claude (claude.ai or the desktop app), open Settings → Features → Skills and choose to upload a skill.
Select the .zip you just downloaded.
Make sure Two Minute Reports is connected so the skill can read your data (Set up with Claude).
Then just ask, for example "Run a Google Ads audit."

On the Skills tab, open the skill's Install tab and click Download to get the .zip.
In ChatGPT, open Customize → Skills, then + → Create Skill → Upload a Skill.
Select the .zip you downloaded.
Connect Two Minute Reports so the skill can read your data (Set up with ChatGPT).
Then just ask for the skill by name.

Claude Code installs the whole skills pack and connects Two Minute Reports in one go.

Add the Two Minute Reports skills marketplace:

/plugin marketplace add twominutereports/marketing-skills

Install the pack (this adds every skill and connects Two Minute Reports):

Reload so the skills are picked up:

Then just ask for a skill by name.

Codex installs the whole skills pack from GitHub.

Clone the skills into your Codex skills directory:

Start Codex with skills enabled:

Then just ask for a skill by name.

Not sure what to ask? The skill's Install tab ends with the exact phrase to use ("Then just ask: …"). Copy that.

How Skills Work

Behind the scenes, a skill is a step-by-step method that Two Minute Reports has written for one specific job. It tells the AI which of your accounts to pull, how to analyze the numbers, and how to lay out the report. The assistant then runs those steps against your live data through the Two Minute Reports MCP tools, so every number comes from your connected accounts, not a guess.

In Dash, this happens automatically, the skill and your data are already connected.
In an external assistant, the skill guides that assistant's own AI, while the MCP connection supplies the live data.

Requirements & Good to Know

Connect the right data sources first. Each skill lists the connectors it needs.
External assistants need the MCP server connected to read live data (Claude Code bundles this in its install).
The catalog is curated by TMR and grows over time, new skills appear automatically, and exact names, versions, and counts can change.
Skills in external assistants use that assistant's own AI, which may require a paid plan there.
