Codex

Use your Two Minute Reports data in Codex. Ask about your marketing data, run skills, and use the data in your projects.

What you can do

• Ask about your marketing data while you work in a project.
• Run the Two Minute Reports skills.
• Use your data to build scripts, reports and tools.

Before you start

• Codex: the CLI, the IDE extension or the ChatGPT desktop app. They share one setup, so you add Two Minute Reports one time.
• A Two Minute Reports account with at least one connected data source.
• To run data queries, the Editor role or higher on the team. See What each person can do.

Connect Two Minute Reports

From the AI tools page

1. In the Hub, select AI tools.
2. On the Connect tab, under More AI tools, select Codex.
3. Follow the steps in the dialog. They are the same as the steps below.

From Codex

1. In your terminal, add Two Minute Reports:

   codex mcp add two-minute-reports --url https://mcp.twominutereports.com/mcp
   

2. Sign in:

   codex mcp login two-minute-reports
   

3. Your browser opens. Sign in to Two Minute Reports, then select Allow.
   

Check that it works

Start Codex and ask:

Which accounts do I have connected in Two Minute Reports?

Codex lists your connected accounts.

Install the skills

Codex reads skills from ~/.agents/skills. This command copies every Two Minute Reports skill there:

cd "$(mktemp -d)" && git clone --depth 1 https://github.com/twominutereports/marketing-skills . && mkdir -p ~/.agents/skills && cp -R plugins/tmr-marketing-skills/skills/. ~/.agents/skills/

Codex finds new skills automatically. If a skill does not show, start Codex again. To update the skills, run the same command again.

Use Two Minute Reports in Codex

Ask about your data

Type your question in plain words. For example:

• "Compare ROAS for Facebook Ads and Google Ads over the last 30 days."
• "Which campaigns spent the most last week with no conversions?"

Run a skill

• Ask for the skill's job, for example "Audit my Google Ads account".
• Or type $ and select the skill. You can also type /skills.

Manage or disconnect

• To disconnect, go to the AI tools page. In Your connections, next to Codex, select Sign out.
• To remove the server from Codex also, run codex mcp remove two-minute-reports.

Limits

Each person can make up to 120 requests a minute. See Limits.

Troubleshooting

• A skill does not show. Start Codex again.
