Apple Search Ads

Two Minute Reports' Apple Search Ads connector lets you access and analyze your data directly in Google Sheets or Looker Studio. Build custom reports, monitor key metrics, and make data-driven decisions - all without writing any code.
What you can report on
- Campaign impressions, taps, and installs
- Cost per tap (CPT) and cost per acquisition (CPA)
- Keyword performance and bid data
- Ad group and campaign-level spend breakdowns
- Conversion rates and install attribution
Prerequisites
- An Apple Search Ads account
- API Account Manager or API Account Read Only user role — only these roles can generate the API credentials required to connect. Standard user roles cannot create API certificates.
- API access enabled in your Apple Search Ads settings
How to get your API credentials from Apple Search Ads
Apple Search Ads uses a public/private key pair for authentication. TMR generates the public key — you paste it into your Apple Search Ads dashboard and retrieve the Client ID, Team ID, and Key ID.
Step 1: Set up an API user (if needed)
Only accounts with API Account Manager or API Account Read Only role can generate API credentials. Standard user roles and Account Admin roles cannot. If you don't already have an account with one of these roles, invite one from your Admin account:
- Log in to your Apple Search Ads dashboard with your Account Admin account
- Click your account name (top right) → Settings
- Go to User Management → Invite User
- Enter the name and Apple ID of the user to invite
- Set the role to API Account Manager or API Account Read Only → click Send Invite
- The invitee accepts the email invite (they must complete Apple Search Ads signup if new)
Step 2: Generate the API credentials
- Go to ads.apple.com/advanced → click Sign In → choose Advanced

- Sign in with your API Account Manager or API Account Read Only account

- Click your account name (top right) → Settings — you'll land on the API Credentials page

- In TMR's connection setup screen, copy the Public Key shown under Public Key to copy

-----BEGIN PUBLIC KEY----- and -----END PUBLIC KEY----- lines. The pasted key must have a line break at the end for authentication to succeed.- Paste it into the Public Key field in the Apple Search Ads API Credentials page → click Save (or Generate API Client if the key fields are empty on a new account)

- After saving, the Client ID, Team ID, and Key ID are generated and displayed
- Copy the Client ID, Team ID, and Key ID — you'll enter these in TMR
